With approximately 285 golf members, the course is always active, but tee times are still easy to get. Golf members can make tee times up to 7 days in advance by calling the starter’s desk at (760) 328-0590, going online in the member portal, or by using the ClubEssentials app on your phone. Many Opportunities to Compete

Download the Golf Season Calendar and pick the events you want to be a part of. The Springs’ “Season” is November 1–April 30. The course is closed during October for overseeding each year.

Play Regularly with Friends

The Springs members have formed many leagues and created playing groups that cater to all levels of competition. Call the Pro Shop at (760) 328-0590 to join one of these groups.

Groups

  • Ladies Casual Golf (Fridays at 1:00 pm)
  • Men’s Golf Group (Tuesday 12:15 pm & Thursday 11:00 am)
  • Men’s Golf Group (M, T, Th, & F 8:00 am)
  • Men’s Choose Up (Saturdays at 8:30 am)
  • Men’s 9 hole (Saturdays at 8:30 am)

Leagues

Practice Facility

The Springs has a 20-tee driving range and a newly renovated short game area that includes a 5,000 sq ft putting green with two bunkers. The practice facilities are open to golf members seven days a week between  7:00 am–5:00 pm. The range is closed Wednesday and Saturday 9:00 –11:00 am for maintenance. Community members may use the practice facilities between 2:00 –5:00 pm. All members are required to check in at the Pro Shop. Proper Golf Attire Required at all times.

Take Lessons

Golfers new to the game can take Golf 101 group lessons with our Pros which are twice a week and run for three months. Private lessons are also available if you contact the Pro Shop at (760) 328-0590.

Golf Professional Staff

Scott joined the Springs team in 2020. Before that Scott served as the Director of Golf at Phoenix Country Club, one of original private clubs in Arizona. It has long history of professional golf, having hosted the Phoenix Open from 1932-1986. It has hosted the PGA Tour Champions Charles Schwab Cup Championship since 2017. 
 
From 2001 to 2012, Scott served as a Head Golf Professional at the Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 8,000 acre resort includes seven courses, six clubhouses, and the Jim Flick Golf Performance Center.
 
Scott still enjoys tournament competition having competed in 8 PGA Professional National Championships and 3 PGA Senior PGA Professional National Championships.

For golf cart purchases or maintenance, contact Jorge (George) Lara at (760) 324-8298 ex. 131. Summer cart service is $25/month (stored at your home) or $60/month (stored at the Clubhouse).
